Privacy Policy
Effective: October 25, 2026
This site, thejosephmurray.com, is run by JM3 Enterprises LLC, the company of adventure photographer and filmmaker James Murray ("we", "us"). We collect very little, and this page explains what that is.
The short version
- No analytics, no advertising trackers and no tracking cookies.
- We never sell your information.
- If you email us, we use your message only to reply and to work with you.
- Our TJM Analytics tool reads only James's own social accounts. It collects nothing about visitors.
What we collect
Visiting the site. The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel processes basic technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver pages and keep the site secure. We don't use it to identify or track you.
Emailing us. The contact links open your own email app and write to partnerships@thejosephmurray.com. We receive whatever you send, usually your name, email address and message. We use it to reply, to discuss work, and to keep a record of our business conversations. Emailing us doesn't add you to any mailing list.
Newsletter. If you sign up for the newsletter, your email address (and first name, if you give it) is stored with our email provider, Kit (kit.com), and used only to send the newsletter. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
TJM Analytics and Google user data
TJM Analytics is James's own internal tool for reviewing how his content performs. It isn't offered to the public.
- Google and YouTube. With James's permission, it connects to his own YouTube channel through Google sign-in, with read-only access (
youtube.readonlyandyt-analytics.readonly), to view channel and video statistics. It can't change anything or see any other Google data. - Meta and Instagram. With James's permission, it has read-only access to his own Instagram and Meta accounts to view content and performance statistics.
- Use. The data is used only for James's own performance reports. It isn't sold, used for ads, or shared, except with service providers needed to run the tool or where the law requires it.
- Limited Use. TJM Analytics' use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- YouTube. TJM Analytics uses YouTube API Services. See the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
- Revoking access. Google access can be revoked at any time on the Google security settings page, and Meta or Instagram access in the account's connected-apps settings. Revoking access stops the tool from pulling any more data, and stored data can be deleted at any time.
Your choices
To see, correct or delete information we hold about you, or to object to how we use it, email partnerships@thejosephmurray.com. Depending on where you live (for example, the EU, the UK or California), you may have these rights by law, and you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
